Job Overview



The Front Desk & Member Services Associate is the first point of contact for members and guests. This role is responsible for delivering a high-quality member experience while supporting daily gym operations, administrative tasks, cleanliness standards, and membership services. The position requires professionalism, reliability, and strong customer-service execution in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities



Greet members and guests professionally and consistently Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, inquiries, and issue resolution Process memberships, renewals, upgrades, and cancellations Handle POS transactions, payments, and basic cash reconciliation Enforce gym policies and ensure a safe, respectful environment Maintain cleanliness standards at reception, washrooms, and designated areas per shift requirements Perform scheduled operational tasks (opening, mid-shift, or closing duties) Answer phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner Support trainers and management with administrative and operational needs Identify upsell and retention opportunities and escalate leads when appropriate Report maintenance issues, incidents, or member concerns to management

Qualifications & Requirements



High school diploma or equivalent Previous customer service, reception, or retail experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and conduct at all times Comfortable handling payments and basic administrative tasks Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-traffic environment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to follow procedures and take direction Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Fitness or gym environment experience is an asset but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.10-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
