The Carpenter is the backbone of DC Forming -- responsible for the hands-on building that brings our projects to life. Each day, you'll organize materials, apprentices, and labourers; plan ahead for tools and equipment; and use your knowledge and skill to construct according to the drawings.
Working closely with the Crew Foreman, you'll help maintain the schedule, enforce safety and quality standards, and make sure each pour and build is done right -- the first time.
At DC Forming, we value
carpenters who think critically
, solve problems on the fly, and take ownership of their work. You should be able to look at a drawing, understand what needs to happen, and make solid decisions that keep the project moving safely and efficiently.
