Formwork Carpenter
Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to join our team in Calgary.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Erect / install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
Build footings, walls, column forms, slab forms, and stair forms
Use and operate required hand and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints
Prepare forms based on sketches and verbal instructions
Review and follow safety policies and procedures
Work at heights and in all weather conditions
Perform physically demanding labour in a fast paced environment
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Education Required: Completion of High School
Location of Employment: Various jobsite locations in Calgary, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday / 35 to 50 hours per week
Work Site Environment: At heights, noisy, dusty
Tools/Equipment Required: Steel toed boots, hard hat
Start Date: Immediately
