Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Coordination:
Lead and supervise construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
Develop and manage daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor crew attendance.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the site crew and project managers.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Inspect work in progress to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Resource Management:
Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment needed for the project.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, work hours, and equipment usage.
Communication & Reporting:
Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on project progress.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any technical or logistical challenges.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years construction experience.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
First Aid Level 2 an asset (not required)
Construction Hours are 7am-3:30pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
