Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Food Expeditor to coordinate and oversee the final stages of food preparation, ensuring that every dish is not only delicious but also presented flawlessly. You\'ll work closely with our kitchen team, servers, and bartenders to create a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and review food orders from the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Verify the accuracy of each order, checking for any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Relay any special requests or modifications to the kitchen team. Provide special attention to orders with specific dietary needs or allergens, ensuring they are prepared safely and accurately.
• Provide updates on order status to servers, ensuring they are informed about any delays or changes.
• Inspect each dish to ensure it meets the restaurant\'s quality standards.
• Confirm that all components of a dish are present and correctly prepared before it leaves the kitchen.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are prepared and plated in the correct order and according to their priority level (e.g., appetizers before main courses).
• Monitor cooking times and inform servers of any potential delays.
• Address any discrepancies or issues with orders promptly and professionally, finding solutions that maintain customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that the expediting station is clean and organized at all times.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and other restaurant personnel to maintain a cohesive and efficient operation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as food expeditor, line cook, or server, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with the menu offerings and the ability to accurately describe dishes.

Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s:

• Recevoir et examiner les commandes d\xe2\x80\x99aliments \xc3\xa0 partir du syst\xc3\xa8me de point de vente.
• V\xc3\xa9rifier l\xe2\x80\x99exactitude de chaque commande avant le service aux tables.
• Collaborer avec les serveurs et l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe cuisiniers pour une communication efficace.
• R\xc3\xa9pondre \xc3\xa0 toute demande sp\xc3\xa9ciale ou restriction alimentaire et les communiquer au personnel de cuisine.
• Fournir des mises \xc3\xa0 jour sur l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9tat des commandes aux serveurs, en veillant \xc3\xa0 ce qu\xe2\x80\x99ils soient inform\xc3\xa9s des retards ou des changements.
• V\xc3\xa9rifier l\xe2\x80\x99exactitude de chaque commande avant le service aux tables.
• Coordonner avec l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe de cuisine pour s\xe2\x80\x99assurer que les commandes sont pr\xc3\xa9par\xc3\xa9es dans le bon ordre et selon leur niveau de priorit\xc3\xa9 (p. ex., entr\xc3\xa9es avant les plats principaux).

Exigences :

• Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans un r\xc3\xb4le similaire, connaissances op\xc3\xa9rationnelles de base en restauration.
• Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles et en communication.
