We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and extensive experience in food service and restaurant management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience to foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Duties
Supervise front-of-house staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
Oversee food preparation, serving, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Manage POS systems for accurate cash handling and billing
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with health regulations
Lead team management efforts to motivate staff, monitor performance, and promote a positive work environment
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless restaurant operations
Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed
Enforce food safety protocols and hospitality standards across all shifts
Assist with restaurant management tasks including scheduling, reporting, and operational improvements
Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices
Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently
Effective communication skills for team coordination and guest interactions
Prior experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
Demonstrated ability to manage restaurant operations efficiently under pressure
