Seeking a Customer Experience Leader/FOH Manager for a distillery

Lone Pine Distilling Inc., a craft distillery based in Edmonton, Alberta, is looking for a career-oriented individual to grow our inside sales, secure & deliver on events, manage, and serve in the bar and store front including our webstore at the distillery. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Create customer engagement, deliver on initiatives to increase customers, grow our event booking schedule and direct interaction with customers / clients.

Deliver on growing our inside sales and initiatives that are consistent within the market

Managing the business aspects of the bar; assisting in negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.

Hiring and training staff for the front of house to provide excellent service to patrons.

Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that the bar is well-staffed during peak hours.

Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls for the front of house.

Effectively delegating responsibilities and maximizing resources.

Regular interaction with clients and further reinforcing the brand experience.

Working with and accommodating diverse personalities, including staff and patrons.

Planning and taking part in promotional events.

Diffusing, de-escalating or intervening in tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues; ejecting unruly persons, if needed.

Maintaining a fun and safe atmosphere for staff, and patrons.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma at minimum.

Strong understanding of business management; related education would be an asset.

Experience in hospitality industry is required; bar or restaurant management experience is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Excellent computer and admin skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.

Ability to be flexible and take a hands-on approach working alongside the team.

Willingness to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to make quick and effective decisions in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, and occasionally carry heavy items.

Pay: $36,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
