Flooring Sales Manager - Nanaimo Location

As the Flooring Sales Manager at our newly expanded Nanaimo location, you will be leading one of our most successful and established stores. This location benefits from a loyal customer base and a strong local reputation, providing a solid foundation for continued growth.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Assist customers with product selection, ensuring they are informed about features and benefits. Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle customer inquiries effectively. Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor that reflects the quality of our products. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an asset. Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while ensuring a positive customer experience. Basic knowledge of cashiering processes and point-of-sale systems is preferred. Able to manage a team and work well with others.
