What you will doDeton Cho Construction Services is recruiting for a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Projects, the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible to oversee and manage all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair within a fleet, including scheduling, tracking, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. They work with service technicians and external vendors to maintain vehicles and keep them road-ready, while also managing inventory, monitoring costs, and assisting with vehicle purchases.The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator position works within this context to provide efficient, timely and accurate administrative and functional services.A Day in the Life
  • Scheduling and Tracking: Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, coordinate vehicle reservations and maintenance requests, and track all maintenance activities.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and track vehicle inventory to ensure adequate supply of spare parts.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other relevant standards. Including ensuring the annual DOT Registrations and necessary inspections and certifications are completed prior to expiration.
  • Cost Control: Manage repair, inventory, and labor costs. Provide reports to Technicians, Managers and other teams members as requested or scheduled.
  • Communication and Coordination: Work with service technicians, external vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient maintenance operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs, including accident reports and paperwork for vehicles and drivers. This will be completed thru fleet maintenance software.
  • Problem Solving: Address maintenance issues, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal: Assist with vehicle purchases and replacements.
