As a Claims Representative you will be working with the Claims Team to analyze claims files and processing claims made by our customers, determining the amount of coverage they are eligible to receive through their applicable policy. You will also negotiate settlements or repayment agreements if our customer is found liable for damages, or with Insurers as applicable. You will also be assisting with database and file management as it relates to Clearway\xe2\x80\x99s Fleet Vehicles.
This position requires working with and supporting each other within the Team environment, to assist our customer in a fair and efficient manner, with integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and process insurance Claims, as per company policy
- Interpret customer policies and coverages
- Negotiate settlements
- Maintain claims files and customer records
- Assist with Fleet database management, and misc. office administration tasks
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Post Secondary education preferred; Office Administration an asset
- Experience with Insurance, and Claims Processing a definite asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical and Organizational skills
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to control conversations with customers in a professional non-confrontational yet understanding tone
- Above average computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new programs.
