Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation and repair, with a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of roofing projects while adhering to industry standards.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as TPO,EPDM,BUR,SBS Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials and tools on job sites. Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing materials. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and insulation of roofs. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete roofing projects efficiently. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role is preferred. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job. Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in roofing tasks. Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints and gaps effectively. A background in carpentry is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Must be able to work at heights safely and follow all safety guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

10 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
