Veoneer Canada Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Finished Goods Planner. As a Finished Goods Planner you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring continuity of supply for the Customer. Within this role, you will be expected to drive the business forward, streamline the operation and engage in continuous improvement of these processes.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

  • Ensure accuracy of weekly customer releases with a great attention to detail.
  • Developing plant manufacturing plans for Markham Safety products that optimize customer satisfaction and meet internal objectives related to inventory levels/changeovers.
  • Perform long term capacity and sales analysis.
  • Preparing daily shipments to customer needs and interface with Quality groups to resolve potential issues.
  • Resolving customer issues through various carriers and customs brokers.
  • Controlling obsolescence by supporting engineering changes, balance-outs.
  • Champion Customer Delivery performance.
  • Maintaining record integrity.
  • Assisting in preparation and analysis of issues in 4-wall Inventory.
  • Coordinating timing with Engineering, Manufacturing; monitoring and changing the time accordingly to ensure accurate supplier releases
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring

  • A business designation or Bachelor of Arts degree, or college diploma (or equivalent).
  • One or more of the following APICS Certifications: CPIM, CSCP and CLTD preferred.
  • 3-5 years of materials/logistics experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools and Outlook.
  • Experience with Enterprise One would be an asset.
  • A high degree of motivation and be proactive in anticipating potential issues taking preventative measures.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure that all parties understand and receive appropriate information in a timely manner.
  • Strong computer skills, analytical skills, ability to drive change, and proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively with great attention to detail.
