The purpose of this role is to be responsible for training and leading the finished goods inventory control team and maintaining best practice inventory processes across all 3PL locations within North America. This will include facilitating cycle count and annual physical count activities, verifying documentation and EDI transmissions, maintaining SOPs for daily deliverables and leading the current team to ensure compliance with the daily requirements of other departments. The Supervisor for FG Inventory is responsible for maintaining & improving inventory flow & management of finished goods. This includes analysis of transaction history in our ERP system, reconciliation of data, preparing reports for management and supporting the Supply Chain Team where required.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead FG Inventory Team to deliver expected outcomes
  • Manage inventory operations at 5 external finished goods warehouses in North America
  • Responsible and accountable for departmental KPIs including inventory accuracy
  • Actively participate and drive inventory management & continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform daily systemic transactions for finished goods movements
  • Work closely with 3PL Operations to facilitate inventory control best practices
  • Prepare weekly and month-end reconciliation reports for Executive team
  • Maintain detailed documentation for internal and external audit partners
  • Analyze movement of 13,000 SKUs in the supply chain to identify existing problems
  • Root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies
  • Create action plans and SOPs to prevent identified operational gaps
  • Hold 3PLs accountable for SOP execution, providing updates on improvements, continuing areas of opportunity and driving performance.
  • Manage reverse logistics for all North American Wholesale and Retail Accounts
  • Ensure 3PLs maintain and execute to SOX compliance standards through daily cycle counts
  • Maintain frequent communication with internal departments, QA/Compliance, Sales Operations and Planning, Internal Audit and Finance
Experience, Education and Designations:
  • 5+ years of inventory control/supply chain experience in a high growth business
  • 5+ years experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft based preferred)
  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • 3+ years experience coaching and leading a team
  • Experience working for a publicly traded company preferred

Working Conditions:
  • Office & Warehouse environment
  • Travel to 3PL and Retail Stores will also be required
