Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fine Dining Server to join our special team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a high-end dining environment and have a knowledge of fine foods and wine. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for working as a team to delivering outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Shifts will vary, Tuesday through Saturday evenings also including some catering events. Bartending experience and wine knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of menu items, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate food and beverage orders using basic math skills for cash handling. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Assist with food and beverage preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent guest services.

Skills

Strong cash handling abilities with attention to detail in transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing. Experience in food preparation within the food industry is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while assisting colleagues when needed. A genuine desire to help guests enjoy their dining experience through attentive service.
