Now open on the Halifax waterfront in the new Queen's Marque district, Mystic explores the natural landscape of Canada with a focus on our Maritime provinces. Here, our Chefs are passionate about showcasing the region's most exceptional fish, flora and fauna curating an authentic expression of time and place.







Exuding professional grace, expertise and warmth at every opportunity, our team will work together to forge an honest connection between the kitchen and the table. Taking an authentic and elevated approach to hospitality, we are looking for a Fine-Dining Server who intuitively adapt to the unique needs of each guest and ensure everybody leaves feeling that their experience was well worth the journey.



What you will be doing:



welcoming each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, always creating an exceptional first impression; maintaining deep knowledge of the menu, wine list, and cocktails to confidently answer questions and make recommendations; anticipating guest needs and ensuring a seamless, elevated dining experience from start to finish; accurately and precisely entering information into the POS system ensuring communications are clear for the BOH team; responding promptly and courteously to any guest request or concerns; going above and beyond for special requests or celebrations and taking food preferences and guest allergies or dietary restrictions seriously; keenly following all food safety standards and systems; other similar duties as required from time to time.

The person we're looking for has:



at least 2 years serving experience in a similar environment; a Serve Right certification; the ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum, staying calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment; excellent observation skills & high attention to detail, offering a helping hand to all guests whenever needed, before they even need to ask.
