Robert Half is sourcing for a Junior/Staff Accountant for a long term engagement in the North York Region in the HealthCare IndustryThis Staff Accountant will be responsible for Journal entries, adjusting entries, General Ledger Account reconciliations and Bank Account ReconciliationsThe Staff Accountant will be working with a union agreementThis role requires you to have excellent Excel grasp including pivotables and vlookups and have proficiency in other large ERP systemsThe Staff Accountant will need to have a good understanding of full cycle general ledger accounting and some financial analysis.
- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required- Proven knowledge of Expense Reporting- Well-founded grasp of finance- Expertise in ERP Solutions- Deep understanding of Great Plains (GPAC)- Experience with Budget Processes- Solid understanding of enterprise resource planning- Foundational knowledge in Accounting Functions- Go-to-market experience or experience- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field- Excellent communication and organizational skills- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively- Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools requiredRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
