We are currently looking for a FINANCIAL ANALYST to join our team What you can expect in this role: Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting in the preparation of management discussion and analysis, monthly internal management reporting as well as process improvement and special projects. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset but not a requirement. Bitfarms is a global company and the duties of this position require frequent collaboration with colleagues, teams and partners based outside Quebec. More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of accurate, insightful and timely internal management reporting, including analysis of financial results compared against forecasts, budgets and prior periods as well as analysis of key operational metrics
  
• Prepare month-end closing tasks and analysis according to task list prepared by the Finance department in advance
  
• Assist in the testing of internal control processes including coordination with SOX consultants and external audit firm to maintain SOX compliance.
  
• Assist in coordinating with external audit firm in quarterly reviews and year-end audits
  
• Assist in other special projects and ad hoc reporting requirements
• Assister dans la pr\xc3\xa9paration des pr\xc3\xa9visions de tr\xc3\xa9sorerie et aider \xc3\xa0 la gestion du fonds de roulement /
• Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and assist with working capital management;
  
• All other related tasks

Here\'s the profile we\'re looking for:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA designation is considered an asset but not a requirement
• 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in a corporative environment with at least 1 year in a finance/accounting department.
• Strong Microsoft Office suite user (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
• Strong writing skills for the preparation of financial reports and Board presentation
