Job Description

Our client (Healthcare sector) is seeking a highly capable Accounting Manager (2-3 month Contract).

Hybrid role. Office location in Downtown Toronto.

Reporting to the VP, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for the organization\'s finance and accounting functions.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for:
- Manage 1-2 direct reports.
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions and processes, month-end, and year-end.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Prepare annual budget and monthly forecast.
- Oversee Payroll, AP, AR.
- Maintainer data and accuracy using accounting systems.
- Monitor performance KPI\'s and business results.

Requirements:
- 1-University Degree in Accounting and Finance
- CPA designation ideal
- 5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience in a managerial capacity
- Experience with accounting software and strong Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
