Robert Half is recruiting for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be tasked with the responsibility of articulating the financial results at the end of each reporting period and for each planning cycle. \xc2\xb7 The ability to balance the strategic and tactical requirements of the role, and demonstrate sound judgement, initiative, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is a 12-18 month contract with onsite being in the Guelph Area, in a hybrid model
How you will make an impact
- Develop operating and financial metrics, analyze results and trends to create impactful insights, report results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improve forecasting and modelling accuracy
- Develop strong partnerships with leaders across the organization
- Collaborate with business unit leaders for the completeness and accuracy of the material inputs to the company financial model and overall business strategy
- Put together reporting for executive-level management, summarizing findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with the accounting team to establish processes and improve close cycle times and reduce errors
- Lead, prepare, and coordinate the annual/quarterly/monthly budget and reforecast processes
- Put together detailed business unit projections and highlight risks and opportunities, and manage the preparation of relevant materials
Requirements
- Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
- CPA designation or country equivalent, or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in a Financial Team
- Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and accounting implications
-Ability to be on site in the Guelph area.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
