Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills within a fast-paced retail environment, contributing to the overall success and growth of the store.

Responsibilities



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Lead and supervise sales associates, providing coaching, training, and development to foster a high-performing team. Manage merchandising efforts, including product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize sales. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and bookkeeping activities with accuracy and integrity. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members. Assist with payroll processing, scheduling, and administrative tasks to maintain operational efficiency. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for management review. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store standards.

Requirements



Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic bookkeeping principles. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sales management, pricing strategies, and marketing. Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, budgeting, and payroll processing. Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of financial information. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $134,400.00-$155,880.97 per year
