Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. This position requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in financial software, and excellent customer service abilities. The Finance Assistant will assist with bookkeeping tasks, data entry, and various clerical duties while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Duties



Assist in managing financial records and transactions using QuickBooks and other accounting software. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and proofreading documents. Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support via phone and in-person interactions. Manage front desk responsibilities, including answering multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette. Maintain organized files and records to ensure easy retrieval of information. Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes. Support bookkeeping activities as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools for document creation and data management.

Skills



Proficiency in QuickBooks and bookkeeping practices is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Prior office experience is essential; experience in a medical or dental office is a plus. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry. Proven clerical experience with an emphasis on filing systems and document management. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Experience handling front desk duties and managing multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Ability to proofread documents for accuracy and clarity. Pay: $18.51-$34.28 per hour
