We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the finance department with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and efficient financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and have experience in office environments, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.
Duties
Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial records using QuickBooks.
Provide clerical support by filing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized records.
Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support via phone and in-person interactions.
Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Proofread financial documents for accuracy and completeness before submission or filing.
Support front desk operations as needed, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and visitors.
Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes within the finance department.
Skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting.
Familiarity with filing systems and maintaining organized records.
Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
