Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to become an integral part of our dynamic culinary team! As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will have the chance to showcase your culinary skills in a flexible and supportive environment. We are looking for someone who can accommodate a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, and is available to work until the end of our season, approximately the end of October. Candidates must have reliable transportation, as public transportation does not service our golf club.



Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a genuine enthusiasm for the culinary arts.


In this position, we offer a vibrant kitchen setting where no two days are the same, with responsibilities ranging from concession prep and all-day service to event catering. The duties will vary based on weather, tee-time schedules, and events, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.





Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Preparing and cooking ingredients according to recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards Assisting in daily prep tasks such as washing, chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients Operating kitchen equipment safely and adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Cooking a variety of menu items using different methods (grilling, sauteing, roasting, frying, etc.) Following plating and presentation standards to ensure consistency and visual appeal of dishes Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to maintain quality, safety, and flavor Tasting and adjusting seasoning to ensure dishes meet established flavor profiles Assisting with specials or new menu items by preparing and executing recipes under guidance from the chef Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient preparation of meals during service Helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen throughout shifts


Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in the food industry is an asset Reliable transportation (we are located about 15 minutes out on Hwy 8) Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and attention to detail Passion for food or a strong desire to learn new culinary skills
