Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Salt Truck Driver to join our team.
You must have a DZ licence.
Responsibilities
Operate Salt Truck to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots and other designated areas. Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal Respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions. Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered. Spread salt, sand, or other de-icing agents on road surfaces to enhance traction and melt ice. Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal. Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used. Load own truck Provide professional service Follow all health & safety regulations
Qualifications
Must have proven experience using a Salt Truck Must have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract The role demands flexible hours, often overnight, including weekends and holidays On-call availability Cell phone data with data required
Experience:
Salt truck driving: 3 years (required)
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
