DZ Salt Truck Driver - Snow Removal

Pay:

$35/hr with 45 Guaranteed Hours bi-weekly

Various GTA client sites- Pick-up Truck at Bolton or Scarborough Branch



We're hiring experienced DZ Salt Truck Drivers to keep GTA client properties safe during winter. You'll operate DZ-class salt trucks, load your truck with salt, and ensure routes are treated efficiently and safely. Reliability, safety, and strong equipment skills are essential -- an in-person drive test is required.

What You'll Do

Be on-call 24/7 and respond quickly during snow events Drive DZ-class salt trucks to treat laneways, parking lots, and roadways Load your truck with salt safely using a loader Follow site maps and complete routes on schedule Perform pre/post inspections, basic maintenance, and keep equipment clean Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members Follow all company, MTO, and safety standards

What you bring

Licensed and experienced with DZ (or higher) trucks Experienced with operating a salt truck in winter Skilled with loaders and basic truck maintenance Reliable, adaptable, and available 24/7 during winter Safety-focused and compliant with all protocols Independent, efficient, and a clear communicator
