We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all meals meet our standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
Assist in meal preparation and presentation for service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service skills is an asset
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
