Duties

Design and assemble floral arrangements tailored to customer specifications and occasions Condition flowers Wash flower buckets Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Maintain the visual merchandising of the store to ensure an attractive and organized display of products Manage inventory levels, restock flowers, supplies, and decorative items as needed Support landscape maintenance tasks when required, including gardening and horticulture activities Handle cashiering duties efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service Engage in e-commerce activities such as online order fulfillment and managing digital storefronts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization

Experience

Previous experience in floral design is a must. Minimum 1 year as an active florist. Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising practices is advantageous Familiarity with landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields enhances suitability for this role Multilingual abilities, especially proficiency in English plus additional languages, are a plus for serving diverse clientele Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers effectively Organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with e-commerce platforms or online sales management is beneficial

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
