We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, customer service, and retail sales. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our shop. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional service will enhance the customer experience and contribute to the success of our business.

Duties

Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and special events. Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs and offering expert advice on plant care and selection. Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies; ensure that all products are fresh and visually appealing. Operate POS systems for sales transactions and manage cash handling accurately. Engage in merchandising efforts to display products attractively and promote sales. Support e-commerce initiatives by managing online orders and ensuring timely delivery of products. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.

Qualifications

Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele Knowledge of horticulture is beneficial. Familiarity with retail sales processes, including cashiering and cash handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a clean work environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members alike. Experience with e-commerce platforms is an advantage for managing online sales. Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
