We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, including experience with various materials such as tile, carpet, LVP and hardwood. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and the ability to read blueprints to ensure precise installation. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Install flooring materials, including tile, carpet, LVP and hardwood, according to specifications and design plans. Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout and installation requirements. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayment or adhesives. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting flooring materials. Perform caulking and finishing work to ensure a polished final product. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout the installation process.

Experience

Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields is essential. Familiarity with various flooring types, including tile laying techniques and carpentry skills. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to flooring installation tasks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver precise work that meets client expectations.
