You will
  • Provide assistance to the CFO and other senior finance executives to meet the demands of an extremely busy business
  • Attend meetings and take notes for follow-up, you are a second set of ears
  • Work closely alongside the CFO, attending to finance team business, including correspondence, telephone calls, and travel, and personal matters from time to time
  • Follow up on items needing attention
  • Manage senior executive expenses
  • Be a scheduling guru, able to organize the CFO's day and the multiple scheduling conflicts that arise
  • Understand the time it takes to fulfill a commitment
  • Act as the point of contact between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders
  • React with appropriate levels of urgency
You have
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • A sense of humour and a calm, approachable demeanor
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • A University degree (an asset)
