Position Summary:


We are seeking a motivated and proactive

Event Sales Executive

to join our Sales and Banquet team. This role is focused on generating new meeting and event business through proactive sales efforts while supporting the Sales and Banquet teams. The ideal candidate is driven, resilient, and comfortable with face-to-face and outbound sales activities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities for meetings and events. Conduct

cold calling, prospecting, and door-to-door sales visits

to generate new leads. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and local businesses. Support the Sales team with proposals, contracts, and sales presentations. Work closely with the Banquet team to ensure successful planning and execution of events. Coordinate with internal departments to meet and exceed client expectations. Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions as required. Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs and event schedules.

Qualifications:



Previous experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a related field preferred. Proven comfort with

outbound sales activities

, including cold calling and in-person prospecting. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven. Flexible and adaptable with a strong team-oriented mindset. Valid

G-class driver's license

and access to a

personal vehicle

required. Experience working with

OPERA

,

CI/TY

, and

Marriott brand standards

is considered an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or sales systems is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$49,000.00 per year
