Now Hiring: Event Rental Dispatcher

Hourly Rate - $25 to $30

Are you passionate about events and logistics? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading a strong team? We're looking for a dedicated, reliable, and experienced Event Rental Dispatcher to join our team for the busy summer season, and beyond.

About the Role:

As an Event Rental Dispatcher, you'll be the critical link between our office, warehouse, and on-the-road fleet. You'll ensure our deliveries and pickups are on time, accurate, and executed with care. You'll work closely with our operations team and lead our drivers to make sure our clients' events run smoothly, from weddings to large corporate functions.

Knows the Edmonton area well and can route vehicles efficiently Is flexible and willing to go the extra mile when needed Has a strong leadership presence and can manage a fleet and dispatch team Has event industry knowledge and understands the importance of timing and presentation Wants to grow with a company that values dedication and team culture
Key Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and adjust delivery and pickup schedules daily Dispatch drivers and coordinate fleet logistics Monitor delivery progress and provide real-time solutions to route issues Lead and support the driver and loading teams, ensuring clear communication Ensure timelines, quality, and customer service expectations are met Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle use, and incident reports Assist in refining and improving dispatch and delivery processes
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of dispatching experience (event or rental industry preferred) Strong knowledge of the Edmonton area and surrounding communities Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience leading a team or supervising staff Ability to work long hours and weekends during peak season (May-September) Comfortable with scheduling software and dispatching tools Valid driver's license with a clean abstract is an asset
