MLS Management is a local company who owns and operates 6 hotels including the Econolodge Winnipeg South/Tapp's Neighbourhood Pub. We are looking for an experienced manager to help run a successful operation. While here, the candidate will also be overseeing one of the busiest beer vendors in the province and a full service hotel with 25 rooms. With a friendly and service-oriented environment, this full service hotel is looking for a Pub Manager to deliver the vision and mission statement of the hotel, as well as uphold the corporate culture that's been built.The Manager will anticipate the needs and exceed the expectations of the ownership group, guests and employees by achieving profitability and customer service goals, all while providing their employees with an exceptional place to work.The Manager Role:Oversee and manage the Econolodge Winnipeg South under the Choice brand standardsOversee and manage The Craft Beer MarketOversee and manage Tapp's Neighbourhood Pub and VLT loungeBuild, develop and improve upon hospitality standards and initiativesProvide human resource leadership as it relates to recruitment, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, performance reviews, counseling, compensation and disciplinary actionsPromote and safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following and enforcing sanitation standards and proceduresYou and your experience:Minimum of 1 year in hotel/restaurant management experienceFood and beverage experience in the hospitality industryCorporate experience in either hotel or restaurantsExperienced in management of budgets and forecastingPosses an excellent customer service attitude and enjoy building relationshipsHands on manager who leads by exampleThough not required, a post secondary degree is an assetContract length: 12 monthsJob Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $45,000.00-$51,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
