We understand the need for cooling towers to be cleaned more regularly and efficiently. In light of recent news, HCTS has begun emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean, bacteria-free cooling tower system. The ramifications of not taking such actions include human health hazards such as diseases, sickness and even death. We strive to bring you quality service at a fair price. We go the extra mile to record and store all our client's service and preventative maintenance records on our cloud server. This can include before/after pictures, repair records & other historical data.

JOB SUMMARY



As an Estimator / Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving HCTS's growth by preparing accurate project estimates and generating new business opportunities. This position requires a balance of analytical skill and interpersonal ability, with a strong emphasis on mechanical aptitude to effectively understand cooling tower systems, components, and scope of work. You will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver competitive bids and maintain lasting client relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically minded, and motivated to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the mechanical and service industry.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:



Include, but are not limited to:

- Develop detailed cost estimates for cooling tower maintenance and restoration projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and site conditions.

- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates align with operational capabilities, profitability targets, and client expectations.

- Attend site meetings to gather information, assess project scope, and address challenges that may affect cost or scheduling.

- Prepare and submit timely, competitive bids and proposals that reflect a thorough understanding of project requirements.

- Follow up on submitted estimates to answer client inquiries, clarify details, and improve project conversion rates.

- Lead sales development efforts, identifying and nurturing new client relationships, with a focus on mechanical contractors and service companies.

- Maintain and grow existing accounts by offering excellent customer service, checking in regularly, and ensuring satisfaction.

- Attend industry networking events to promote HCTS and expand the client portfolio.

- Generate purchase orders and work orders for subcontractors and vendors based on awarded projects.

- Procure materials and rental equipment in coordination with project schedules and supplier availability.

- Maintain internal databases and tracking sheets for accurate records of estimates, project details, and procurement activities.

- Build and maintain supplier relationships to support timely delivery, resolve issues, and optimize project logistics.

- Travel within Southern Ontario as needed to support site visits, client meetings, and project follow-ups.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:



- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Knowledge/ experience in construction project management.

- Time management skills.

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.

- Supervisory experience in a maintenance/ field service capacity.

- Organization and attention to detail.

- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Office 365 an asset.

- Experience in upselling products, services and providing lead generation an asset.

- Experience working with cooling towers an asset. Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand cooling tower systems, components, and repair methods to support accurate estimating and client conversations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
