Prime Movers has a Estimator/Sales Job Opportunity at our Leduc branch.

Prime Movers is looking for individuals that are reliable, punctual, take pride in their work and are willing to learn and grow in the industrial moving industry. The candidate should be familiar with some of the areas below:

Machinery Moving, Demolition, Forklift Operation, Jack & Roll, Rigging & Material Handling, Crane Operation, Transportation Class 1 or 3, Operation and Gantries

Job Summary:

Join our team at Prime Movers as an Estimator where you will play a crucial role in our projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with expertise in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation to accurately price projects and contribute to our success.

Duties:

- Utilize tools to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and tools/equipment required.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate pricing and timely completion of estimates.

- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.

- Negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in construction estimating.

- Strong project management skills to handle multiple estimates simultaneously.

- Ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.

- Knowledge of construction processes and materials.
