We are a full-service law firm of 19 lawyers with a full complement of support staff. Our Firm is seeking a full-time law clerk to provide support to our extensive and growing Estate Administration practice group. The applicant will be responsible for handling files pertaining to the administration of estates, including the preparation of applications to the Court for Certificates of Appointment of Estate Trustee, assisting our lawyers in advising Estate Trustees in all aspects of estate administration, preparing documents and accounts, and other requirements of estates. Preference will be given to those applicants with 3 or more years' experience working in a law office as an Estates Law Clerk and those who have completed the Law Clerk program.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be comfortable meeting one-on-one with clients and following their instructions and the instructions of a lawyer. The candidate must be an effective problem solver who is able to work independently with supervision as necessary. The candidate will also have strong word processing skills, a good attention to detail, organized and exemplary learning capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
Salary commensurate with experience.
