When it comes to environmental consulting, we\xe2\x80\x99re focused on cleaning up our communities today to improve tomorrow. We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking an experienced Professional Engineer to lead brownfield re-development, decommissioning and demolition projects, implementing characterization and remediation solution services for industrial and government clients. You\xe2\x80\x99ll apply your technical experience in remedial design and construction management to plan and oversee the strategic execution of project tasks while championing safety, quality, and the well-being of your team. Based in Ontario and reporting to either Kitchener or Toronto offices, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have the opportunity to work on remediation, decommissioning or demolition projects across Ontario, with the flexibility to work independently at home or in teams at the office. You\xe2\x80\x99ll lead a team and oversee the planning and execution of design work, including engineered drawings, specifications and other construction tender document. Working with Senior and Junior engineers and scientists, you will lead the overall execution of the technical scope. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be supported by a diverse group of industry leading technical expert available through our multiple communities of practice. You\xe2\x80\x99ll drive innovation and promote the use of digital tools and electronic data capture. You\xe2\x80\x99ll build strong relationships with our clients and work with client account managers to position and win new work.   • Professional experience including at least 3 years as licensed engineering having overseen conceptual to detailed design and the preparation of construction procurement packages.
  • Licensed professional engineer (P.Eng) in the Province of Ontario.
  • Proven leadership skills and at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience successfully managing projects
  • Provide creative solutions to complex environmental problems by combining regulatory risk assessment with remedial technologies
  • Leverage teams comprising of different technical disciplines to complete tasks and prepare technical deliverables for clients, regulatory agencies, or other stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ontario\xe2\x80\x99s environmental regulation and guidelines.
  • Experience overseeing construction including understanding of contract administration practices.
  • Strong, persuasive technical writing skills to support proposal writing.
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong record in health and safety, including experience with behavior-based health & safety programs
  • Must hold valid Ontario driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
