Safety Administrator

Office Location : 261006 High Plains Way, Rocky View AB (Balzac Area)

The primary accountability of this position is to provide administrative support to the safety department. Looking for someone interested in building themselves a long term career potential. Willing to train.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety administration and supporting the Health, Safety Manager
• Accountable for the documentation and record keeping of safety related matters including safety files and records, both paper & electronically
• Assists with the preparation of Audits, COR safety audits
• Review submitted safety documentation
• Assists with developing weekly safety meeting material and participates in weekly
• Respond to requests for safety information (internal or external requests)
• Maintain tool room supplies and order appropriate supplies for the safety department
• Assist/perform with site visits
• Assist with incident investigations
• Assist with maintaining stock and cleanliness of the tool crib
• Assist with Fleet Management
• Assist with office administration
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License - Comfortable driving a pick up truck
• Willingness to be at heights
• MS Office skills are essential (e. Excel, Word, etc.)
• Motivated self-starter
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• Ability to participate as an effective team member, supporting departmental/organizational goals and objectives
• Strong work ethic, organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• First Aid and Fall Protection are an asset but not required
• Performing site visits of the roof - working at heights is a requirement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
