Mist Mobility Integrated Systems Technology is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative aerial delivery and recovery systems including: Space Recovery Systems, the Sherpa family of GPS guided parafoils, SkyLink parachutist navigation system and the self-launch capable SnowGoose unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), along with mission planning tools, services, and support equipment. Job Summary:
The Enterprise IT Manager will own the Information Technology portfolio at MMIST, aligning IT assets and plans to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility of all aspects of IT within MMIST including defining and driving the overall IT strategy to deliver stable, secure and cost-effective IT Services for MMIST
  • Own the Information Technology AS9100 process.
  • Lead and Manage an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) upgrade project.
  • Work with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to coordinate day-to-day IT implementation.
  • Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver IT solutions and services aligned to MMIST values, goals and objectives.
  • Design and implement IT systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate the estimation, planning and tracking and delivery of IT solutions.
  • Analyze current IT workflows and implement best practices for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up to date and provide guidance with ongoing regulatory requirements that may impact IT, security operations.
  • Foster an outstanding IT service culture that delivers for the organization.
  • Build and foster strong professional relationships and strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure all IT project deliverables are met on time and are cost effective.
  • Provide hands on training as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science / Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent.

Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years+ experience
  • Experience with ERP selection, implementation, management, and customization (Epicor, Dynamics 365, etc.)
  • Experience with hybrid on-prem / cloud solutions for a Controlled Goods registered organization
  • Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 processes
  • Experience with IT Policies & Procedures related to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) & International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Project Management Experience

This position is a full-time position onsite at our Ottawa facility and offers a competitive salary and benefits package based on experience.
