The Senior IT Manager, Change Management & Employee Success is responsible for understanding the business overall goals, strategy, requirements, and objectives. This role will assist in leading the successful adoption of digital platforms for PSG business, ensuring that change management initiative aligns with the technology to provides maximum return on investment, adoption of change and linking IT strategy in support of the overall business/service line strategy. The Senior IT Manager, Change Management & Employee Success, will lead the creation and execution of change management strategies that enhance employee adoption of some of the most consequential business and organizational IT-led initiatives. You will partner with key stakeholders across the organization to develop internal capabilities across the time horizon and drive tangible impact in how employees and customers experience Thermo Fisher. You will be expected to serve as a Subject Matter Expert and provide the coaching and innovation to advance the organization’s change capabilities. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dedicated change consultant and strategic partner to drive successful adoption of new ways of working by facilitating end-to-end change management support.
  • Develop an approach and lead execution of organizational change management efforts including but not limited to: Leadership Alignment, Stakeholder Engagement, Organizational Risk and Readiness, Strategic Communications, User Training, and Performance Measurement.
  • Closely partner with project teams, stakeholders, and leaders to align and execute on change management plans.
  • Develop the change capability and standardize resources to streamline efforts and enable self-sufficiency across relevant stakeholders.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships across the IT organization to stay informed of new initiatives and provide strategic counsel on change impacts and required support.
  • Serve as a CM SME by providing coaching and leadership and advancing our approach via innovative thought leadership.
  • Helps identify risks and dependencies to the portfolio and mitigates them as appropriate.
  • Help identify requirements gaps and investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.
  • Building strong relationships; excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success as a change practitioner devising and executing enterprise change management strategies, preferably in an IT-focused organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global matrixed environment with multiple priorities that requires strong project management and decision-making capabilities.
  • Outstanding relationship management skills that foster trust and influence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities that consistently achieve intended impact, resonate with diverse audiences, and reflect the larger culture and brand standards.
  • Certified in Prosci or other well established Change Management methodology.
  • Requires ability to influence internal and external contacts on services including but not limited to, Finance, technology, and vendor management groups.
  • Navigating a large IT department with a high number of technologies and technical disciplines
  • Experience leading a matrix team of professionals and communicating with various levels of management is highly desired. Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.
  • More than 5 years working experience
  • Experience in the Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences industry (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of information technology, engineering, computer science, business administration or related field (required)
  • Proven ability in a high growth business and developing teams to scale and deliver on commitments
  • Advanced degree in business or technology, such as an MBA (preferred).
  • Travel 0- 20%
