As an Engineering Intern you will work in collaboration with the team on various construction projects related to Geotechnical Instrumentation and Monitoring, Noise and Vibration Monitoring, Air Quality Monitoring and Condition Surveys.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in site visits and field inspections to conduct monitoring using total stations, digital inclinometers and other geotechnical instruments
  • Prepare, install, maintain and troubleshoot various instruments both in field and in the workshop
  • Review, analyze and interpret monitoring data
  • Support project planning, scheduling and coordination with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
  • Prepare technical reports and conduct data analysis
  • Review of technical specifications and drawings to deliver project requirements
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
  • Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
  • We are looking for EITs with 0-5 years of experience and who has graduated from a Canadian accredited university with a Bachelor of Applied Science (civil, geotechnical) or other applicable degree in an engineering or technology-based field.
  • Has a valid provincial driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu
  • Experience with programming in Python, and Visual Basic
  • General knowledge of various technical fields such as electronics, mechanics, physics and applied sciences
  • Experience operating various power tools
  • Experience with FMD / SLA printing is a bonus
