Join our team

The Commercial Demand Generation Team at TELUS Business oversees marketing campaigns that target organizations, especially in the mid-market and enterprise space. Working closely with our stakeholders, such as the go-to-market team, our job is to craft compelling campaigns that drive strong business results. You\'ll have the unique opportunity to help craft our first promotional and nurture email campaigns in the commercial team.

You are strong at building efficient, heavily personalized email campaigns. You love solving complex automation logic, pushing automation live, and keeping them running smoothly.

As part of a growing team, you will help plan our email creation and deployment capabilities by building campaigns and automation and will advise on how martech advancements can help us improve. Always learning, you\'ll stay close to results, embrace optimization, and will help bring our test and learn strategy to life. Most importantly, your campaigns will contribute to key business metrics, including lead qualification that leads to revenue.

Here\'s how

  • Build and deploy creative and impactful emails using HTML/CSS in conjunction with our email deployment tools (predominantly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Create well-designed and easy-to-use email templates and content blocks that can be leveraged for future deployments
  • Develop thoughtful strategies to improve email engagement rates using automation, journey builds, and personalization
  • Embrace continued learning and optimization by recommending and implementing A/B testing
  • Ensure campaign accuracy, timeliness, and impact by collaborating with team members and stakeholders
  • Aid in managing email deliverability, database hygiene, subscription management, and compliance with policy on opt-in/out
  • Establish and maintain email best practices while adhering to TELUS brand standards
  • Proactively report on email marketing trends to provide innovative email channel recommendations
Qualifications

What you bring
  • A natural collaborator who can work with cross-functional teams
  • A creative problem solver that applies a strong scientific rigour to your work
  • Must have strong knowledge of and experience with HTML/CSS for email creation
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including AMPscript. Experience with Adobe Campaign is an asset but not necessary
  • Experience working with Marketing Cloud data extensions. SQL query experience is an asset but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of email testing, accessibility and deliverability practices
  • Knowledge of Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in email development
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once to accomplish business objectives
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Sciences, Commerce/Business Administration, Marketing, Design or similar college certificate #LI-REMOTE
