LVI is currently seeking a rework technician for our high volume and fast paced electronic repair environment. Our goal is to provide a positive work environment that encourages growth and development to all our employees.
Compensation: Is negotiable and dependent on experience, but will be competitive. Upon successful completion of a 3-month probationary period extended health benefits will be provided.
Job Purpose:
Bench Technicians inspect, clean, repair, and test the electrical/electronic and mechanical functions for Point of sales , Pull-Tab Vending Machines (and their associated sub-components), Self-Serve Terminals (and their associated sub-components), and various cabling and devices. Bench Technicians are also responsible for documenting and reporting faults found, work done, and parts used. Trouble shooting wireless networks .
Duties:
Create work tickets, enter information, and close work tickets in Service Max (electronic database);
Create sales orders
Inspect received equipment for billable damage (DERs) and for the availability of replacement parts;
Disassemble and reassemble equipment;
Able to adapt to new equipment and procedures as equipment changes for BCLC
Clean exterior chassis of equipment;
Clean (and lubricate if necessary) mechanical components of equipment;
Clean electrical/electronic components of equipment;
DE solder and solder electronic components on printed circuit boards;
Load/edit firmware, software, and configuration settings of equipment;
Test equipment for functionality;
Long-term test questionable equipment;
Move inventory from Defective Status (CC) to Good Status (EE) in Service Max (Sales Force)
Provide Technical Support to Field Service Technicians who call in;
Clean and maintain their personal workspace daily;
Clean and maintain the communal areas of the Rework Shop on a weekly basis; and,
Other tasks as directed by the Rework Lead Hand or Rework Supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications:
Bench Technicians generally have some form of education or experience in Electronics or Computer Sciences. Wireless network systems, Bench Technicians must have technical/mechanical aptitude, be computer literate (able to use Microsoft Windows based applications), and be able to work under pressure and time limits. Bench Technicians will be custom trained by LVI to support the Lottery equipment and peripherals.
