Greenlight Innovation is the industry leader in fuel cell testing equipment. We are working closely with our customers to enable the research, development, and commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer technology.
We are looking for an experienced System and Process engineer to develop and join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the next-generation electrolyzer test products. Responsibilities include:
- Design mechanical systems and process hardware for hydrogen electrolyzer test systems.
- Develop engineering product definition, including technical specification, P&ID, bill of material, CAD models, and software specifications.
- Ensure product/user safety and compliance with international standards.
- Support design verification and first article testing activities.
- Communicate design intent to other engineering and operations departments, including manufacturing and testing teams.
- Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Degree in mechanical, chemical, or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the design of hydrogen electrolyzer systems.
- 5+ years of process automation engineering experience and product design, specifically dealing with pressurized gas and liquid systems.
- Design experience with piping and vessel design, process automation, and functional safety systems.
- Hands-on capability for testing and troubleshooting integrated systems.
- Working knowledge of functional safety and risk reduction techniques.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks including modeling, sheet metal, assembly aids, and proficiency in dimensioning.
- Strong background in thermodynamic calculations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Registration as a P.Eng.
