Summary

Reporting to the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor, the purpose of the Electrician role is to perform repairs on various equipment throughout the manufacturing facility. The individual will be a Journeyman or registered Apprentice who has an industrial background with a continual focus on safety, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex\'s Calgary South East facility.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Install, repair, maintain various electrical systems and related equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications and blueprints
• Maintenance work as required
• Equipment, building maintenance and repair with good mechanical abilities
• HVAC operation
• Identifying any potential issues through trouble shooting
• Participating in, accepting and adopting the safety principles

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Alberta Journeyman Electrician Certificate with an Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate or Apprenticeship status with relevant work experience
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Industrial building maintenance experience
• Experience with overhead crane maintenance, welding machine repair and HVAC operation and repair is an asset
• Ability to use computer programs such as Outlook, Excel and Word an asset
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID\'s
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Organizational and communication skills
