Redpath Sugar is part of the ASR Group, the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more than 6 million tons of sugar.
The Redpath Belleville plant is a blending and packaging operation producing a variety of sugar containing products for customers in Canada and the U.S. The plant operates state of the art high speed mixing and packaging systems supported by high level safety, quality and logistics systems.

OVERVIEW
We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Electrician to join the maintenance team and are seeking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing operation and have excellent communication skills, a drive for results and have the energy and vision to recognize and implement improvement opportunities both independently and as part of a team with members of all levels of an organization.
Provide electrical and maintenance support for entire plant. Makes necessary notes, paper records, and utilizes the CMMS system. Provide maintenance support for plant across all shifts. Respond to all electrical/maintenance requests via packaging Shift Operational Supervision and work in accordance to Redpath\xe2\x80\x99s Health and Safety Policy. This position is rotating 12-hour day/night shifts including scheduled Saturday shifts.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for providing overall electrical support to the production group in the areas of packaging as well as processing and facilities to ensure continuous operations.

• Provide Lock-out and or mechanical isolation for operation and maintenance tasks
• Provide a combination of both Instrumentation and Electrical trade assistance in any failure or prevention of failure in regards to the operating equipment
• Provide the technical data required by the Operational personnel to make sound decisions in the best interests of the company

• GMP and HACCP trained and practice strict guidelines for daily tasks Applying for Spare parts via CMDM

• Maintenance and safe working conditions of all Equipment
• Reporting all unsafe and or failing or potential to fail equipment
• Report daily to the Maintenance Supervisor of on shift calls and handover information
• Comply with the directives of the Packaging maintenance Supervisor
• Comply with the directives of the Operational Supervision
• Conduct yourself with courtesy and professionalism at all times
• Entering Hours worked into Time entry system
• Conduct weekly Safety audits and submit

WORK EXPERIENCES

• Proficient with all MS Office applications
• Control systems training (certificate in Allen Bradley PLC level 1)
• GMP and HACCP certified

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Electrician Trade designation
• Hold a valid 309A or 442A licence

• Authorize payment to contractors.
• Work with Operations to provide feedback, select equipment, evaluate designs, and develop project budgets on proposed projects.
• Work in a fast paced environment on a three shift basis
• Work alongside fellow maintenance and operation individuals
