Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ECG Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) and assisting in the diagnostic evaluation of patients. This position requires a strong understanding of cardiac physiology, medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Duties
Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients, ensuring accurate placement of electrodes and adherence to protocols. Maintain aseptic technique while preparing for procedures and ensuring cleanliness of equipment. Document patient information accurately, adhering to medical terminology standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as an ECG Technician or similar role within a healthcare setting. Experience with sonography techniques is a plus. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
