Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented ECG Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conducting electrocardiograms (ECGs) to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients' heart conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.

Duties

As an ECG Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Performing electrocardiograms on patients as directed by physicians. Preparing patients for ECG tests by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort. Applying electrodes to the patient's skin accurately to obtain clear readings. Monitoring patients during the procedure to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintaining and calibrating ECG equipment to ensure optimal performance. Documenting and reporting test results accurately and promptly to healthcare providers. Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinical setting. Conduct Holter monitoring setup and scanning.

Experience

Candidates should possess:

A solid understanding of medical terminology, particularly related to cardiology. Previous experience as an ECG Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
