Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 AECNL Certified Early Childhood Educator with Pre-Kindergarten Certification to join our early learning team. The successful candidate will assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programming that supports the growth and learning of children ages 3-5 in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of play-based, child-centered pre-kindergarten programs aligned with the Early Learning Framework of Newfoundland and Labrador. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through daily routines and activities. Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Ensure compliance with provincial childcare regulations, health, and safety standards. Collaborate with families, colleagues, and supervisors to support positive learning outcomes.
Qualifications

Level 2 Certification with the Association of Early Childhood Educators Newfoundland and Labrador (AECNL). Pre-Kindergarten Certification (provincially recognized). Current First Aid/CPR Level C certification. Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
