Early Childhood Educator (level 3 – Pre Kindergarten Certified)
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Level 3 AECNL Certified Early Childhood Educator with Pre-Kindergarten Certification to join our early learning team. The successful candidate will design and implement developmentally appropriate programming that supports the growth and learning of children ages 3-5 in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver play-based, child-centered pre-kindergarten programs aligned with the Early Learning Framework of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
Maintain compliance with provincial childcare regulations, health, and safety standards.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications
Level 3 Certification with the Association of Early Childhood Educators Newfoundland and Labrador (AECNL).
Pre-Kindergarten Certification (provincially recognized).
Current First Aid/CPR Level C certification.
Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
